Hey, welcome to DA! Most people don't leave critique here, so no need to be scared generally, you'll probably end up wanting critique after a while!
Nice fine linework, but making some other lines besides the main outline stronger and bolder would give the image more definition, such as making the edge of the jacket a stronger line, but leaving the details fine. That's a very 'old skool' manga drawing style you have, makes me think of things like 'Flame of Recca' the older volumes of 'Oh My Goddess' and '3x3 eyes' I would suggest making the male character's jawline stronger, and the female's shorter and more rounded, just changing their jawlines a little would make the difference between male and female easier to see.
Really good work on the fabric, but in places the hair seems a little like you don't know where it's growing from. you should pay attention to the hairline and parting and stuff of a character and work the hair from there. I think that's enough critique for today ^_^' Keep up the good work!

this is an excellent piece. you have a very distinct and, as darthmongoose said, old school style. the clothing is well done, especially the billowing jacket.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
